Starting Over... Again...

There is so much to catch up on. And right now, blogging seems like it should be pretty low on my priority list. But I wanted to be sure to mention that we are moving. Again. Back to the Southern Oregon Coast.

There is so much I could write about this.

We are so very disappointed. And, yet, we can see the tremendous way God has protected us in keeping a place for us back where we came from.

We are fully confident that God will work all things together for our good. Just as He promised.

Currently, I need to keep cramming things into boxes and cleaning and making plans, all the while keeping my precious, very excited, little ones fed and clothed and safe and happy.

Sometimes, I think it's better if I don't write it all down... Yikes!

OH, and just a footnote to The Winter of Crazy Illnesses: Roger developed an ear infection last week and about 18 hours from when it started to hurt, his ear drum ruptured. If you call to offer him sympathy, be sure he's not holding the phone to his deaf ear. =)

There's so much more to tell, but I'm not quite ready. I'll keep you posted.

Blessings,
Brenda, Queen of the Nomads

  1. If one must be "very disappointed" then "fully confident that God" is the perfect counterpart.

On a lighter note, our family is coming to Oregon this Summer (August), and since you'll be there too, and since I don't plan on breaking any appendages, it should be quite easy to hook up for a visit!

  2. Sometimes it's ok to not tell everything, and for that we understand!!

Although you are disappointed, there is at least one little (ok, not so little) boy here that is very excited to have his best friend close by again:-)

    see you soon!!!

  3. I am sorry for your disappointment!

Selfishly, I am thrilled we will be able to see you again for a little while before our move.

I am keeping you and your family in my prayers! I love you!

  4. Had a dream last night that we lived next door to each other, near a lagoon, and our kids freely roamed from house to house for fun! Been praying over your transition.

  5. Wow. What a journey! We had no idea! We trust God is leading you and we're glad He has protected you in all this. I can understand your disappointment, yet the lessons you are teaching your children about doing what's right & obeying God will be invaluable. I don't know the situation, but I'm sure you & Roger have testified to His grace through this whole process & showed them what it looks like to totally depend on Him. We're praying for you on this continued adventure.
PS Can you email me your new address? I've got something waiting to be mailed to you. :-)
    Blessings! ~ Terra
